We have two renewable schemes running at present.
The first is roof-mounted PV solar panels, these have been mounted on the grain stores facing south to ensure maximum exposure to the sun.
From here the generated electricity is used in a range of commercial buildings with any excess being exported to the grid.

We also have four Biomass schemes running where we burn renewable fuels in particular woodchip to produce heat, then heat large tanks of water which is then exported through a large underground network of pipes to a range of commercial and residential properties.
The Farm aims to reduce its carbon footprint and continues to explore renewable energy opportunities.
